Sinopse Original:
Designed for intermediate to advanced players, this book develops all aspects of technique. Covers basic and extended chords in all keys. Also applies to acoustic bass study.
This Berklee Workshop is an ideal resource for bass players who have progressed beyond beginning methods and are now looking for a comprehensive knowledge of all basic and extended chords. Featuring exercises in developing technique and melodic sense in and out of the upper register, this book retains the traditional "foundation" role of the bassist with the added demands of contemporary music styles. Playing faster, higher, and more melodically are some of the requirements of the modern bass player.
Knowledge, comfort, sound quality, and experimentation are the guiding principles throughout the study, exactly what every one of Appleman and Viola's students will learn with this workshop.
This title offers comprehensive approaches to developing the entire spectrum of technical and intuitive electric bass skills.
